  • Evaluate the role of ethics and proportionality in warfare and explore a framework for analyzing political violence and war.
  • Investigate the role the film’s structure and form play in its meaning by considering the choices the director made with respect to the film’s genre—history or memoir?

  • Analyze the Bay of Pigs, Cuban Missile Crisis and Berlin Crisis and their effect on American politics.
  • Analyze the political effect of the Cold War and Kennedy’s failures on American politics.
