2.  Finish Party Slogans from yesterday.

3.  When completed work on Ch. 7 Sec. 1 Guided Reading

Objective:  Identify and analyze the wars in South and Latin America and their affects on the political and social history of the region.

1.  Bell Ringer:  Copy  War Web in notes

2.  Use “Century of War” Reading to fill in web with wars.

3.  Go over Century of War Web Guidelines and Rubric.

I had a wonderful time meeting all of your parents who came to conferences.  If your parent/guardian couldn’t make it and still wants to talk to me, they should shoot me an email at amwachholz@cps.edu and we can set up a time to meet in the future!

Now…  back to the grind and the 2nd quarter.

Objective:  Understand the requirements for the 1st draft of the historical investigation paper.

1.  Bell Ringer:  Pick up and read the Historical Investigation Guidelines.

2.  Go over HIG as a group.

3.  Distribute paper examples and sign up for 1 on 1 meeting time.

4.  Study for 10 week test which will be on Monday.
